The works of Michal Dobrzynski combine different techniques and styles, the source of which is tradition, in the broad sense of the word, along with new techniques and styles worked out by the avant-garde of the twentieth century. Together with elements of tonality and polytonality, there is a structuralism of intervals, along with the polyphony of voices and sound layers, and with effects derived from techniques applied in electronic music. The choice of techniques and forms results from the composer’s reflections on the richness and variability of the world. In particular, they give the musical matter sense and meaning, they direct musical narration and expression.
