This Swedish label brings us its second Huber CD - a large-scale symphony-cum-violin concerto (unpublished, written in 1906) which was based on a poem of the same title by Justinus Kerner. This is not a concerto; the solo role is not virtuosic, rather the solo violinist represents the protagonist of the poem and the symphony itself, in three movements, follows the narration of Kerner's work in clearly laid-out (and identified) sections.     (Excerpts)
