On 9th and 11th March the German pianist played in Caracas, Venezuela, with the orchestra, and the recordings of those two extraordinary evenings are now released for the first time on CD by IDIS. They are rare and precious sound documents that allow us to appreciate, with excellent sound quality, the artistry of one of the greatest performers of the 20th century and most respected interpreters of the concertos and sonatas by Beethoven.
